This bed looks so comfy?

Hello all of you who are reading my blog posting for today.

The day started off cold with rain here, in Bloubergstrand,.  The sun was out for an hour or two but this afternoon it is cloudy and cool once more.  (and as I am reading through my blog post text for today the sun is shining brightly and the clouds have gone!)

Give me sunshine in the month of November?  I know I am repeating myself but how y'all live with that dreadful weather in Europe?  (in and close to the UK)  The rest of Europe like Greece, Portugal, Italy,Spain,Malta and the other Mediterranean countries get gorgeous sun in their summer months too.   Anybody's  guess why you would want to live in the other European countries.

The book bellow has created quite a stir?  (I was baking a Christmas cake this morning, so the word stir is on my mind)

Fifty Shades of Grey

Fifty Shades of Grey is a 2011 erotic novel by British author E. L. James. Set largely in Seattle, it is the first instalment in a trilogy that traces the deepening relationship between a college graduate, Anastasia Steele, and a young business magnate, Christian Grey. It is notable for its explicitly erotic scenes featuring elements of sexual practices involving bondage/discipline, dominance/submission, and sadism/masochism (BDSM).
The second and third volumes are titled Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed, respectively. Fifty Shades of Grey has topped best-seller lists around the world, including the United Kingdom and the United States.[1][2] The series has sold 60 million copies worldwide, [3] with book rights having been sold in 37 countries,[4] and set the record as the fastest-selling paperback of all time, surpassing the Harry Potter series.[5] Critical reception of the novel has been mixed
???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
The newspaper reviewers on Sky News this morning were talking about this book.  Carte Blanche, featured it (this book and the idea we are all into BDSM) too.  I am not into this sort of thing personally but hey  I guess for some people out there the little rhyme, "sticks and stones may break my bones but whips and  chains excite me?" rings true.

This is one of the reasons they banned corporal punishment in South African schools. according to a teacher I met for coffee at Bayside 3 years ago?  Spanking is sexual for both the spanker and their naughty school boy?  I never came up with this theory, so do not take it as my theory?

Romeo, next door's cat, was here earlier today, as he is most days.  He is hilarious.  He likes to sit next to
a cat statue in my home.  Why?  He spends hours there if he is not begging for food or grooming himself for hours.  Why do cats do that?  I read once in a cat book that grooming is self soothing for your cat.

Well unfortunately that is all from moi for today's blog posting folks.  Have a wonderful week.

Signing off

Ciao
DAVE
